Summary
As a Supply Chain Manager at Suncom, you are responsible for ensuring a resilient and cost-efficient supply chain that supports our projects in execution. Your focus will be on sourcing and procuring critical components, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships. You will develop strategies to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and standardize processes for future growth. This includes benchmarking supplier performance, identifying alternative sourcing strategies, and establishing clear frameworks for compliance and efficiency. You will work closely with both the supply chain team, the project teams and Suncom Management to successfully execute projects and ensure the highest quality of our SunFleet.

What we are looking for
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant (technical) degree.
- 7 years+ of relevant work experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or deep-tech environment.
- Proven track record in project-based procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Strong ability to identify risks in supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Interested to traveling abroad.
- An entrepreneurial team player, motivated to help us grow our company into a worldwide operating renewable energy technology provider.
Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Source and procure components for projects in alignment with technical and commercial requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and legal agreements with suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
Supply Chain Optimization & Sourcing
- Design and implement strategies to enhance supply chain resilience and robustness.
- Assess risks and gaps in the supply chain and execute mitigation plans.
- Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
- Benchmark supplier performance and identify alternative sourcing strategies.
Cost Optimization
- Analyze major cost drivers across the supply chain.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies.
Standardization
- Establish standardized processes and frameworks to enable scalable supply chain growth.
