Organic babyfood production

🇪🇸 Spain

Operational

Smileat, a leading producer of 100% organic baby food in Spain, sought to eliminate its dependence on dieselbased steam generation. Suncom deployed its first Spanish SunFleet H300 system at Smileat’s factory in Jerez de la Frontera, delivering process heat at ~175–300°C to supply the site’s steam demand. The solar field of 40 SunArcs, combined with thermal storage and a steam boiler, integrates seamlessly into the existing network and replaces up to 80% of Smileat’s fossilfuelbased heat, reducing diesel consumption by approximately 20,000 liters per year. This project marks a flagship commercial deployment for Suncom and a major step for Smileat toward clean, reliable, and costefficient industrial heat.

Confiserie Napoleon

Under Development

Napoleon, a longestablished candy manufacturer in Breskens, aims to eliminate its reliance on fossilbasedsteam generation by adopting a hightemperature hybrid renewable heat system. Suncom’s SunFleet H300 combines concentrated solar heat, Power2Heat, and hightemperature thermal storage to deliver 300 °C thermal energy and saturated steam at 8 bar. The installation provides 1.3 GWh of clean heat per year, reducing Napoleon’s CO₂ emissions by over 300  ton annually while ensuring full compatibility with its continuous industrial processes.

VanDrie groep

VanDrie, an agricultural customer in NoordBrabant, previously relied on an woodpellet burner to heat water for farm processes — a system with high annual pellet consumption and associated CO₂ emissions. The farm required 85 °C hot water. Suncom replaced the pellet boiler with a SunFleet H100 system consisting of 50 SunArcs, SunTES H100 thermal storage, a heat exchanger and SunCore intelligence. The installation now delivers 460,000 kWh of clean thermal energy per year, eliminating the need for biomass combustion and reducing emissions by ~50 tCO₂ annually
